The main impetus for the establishment of the CC of AMP in 2010 was the desire of milk producers to achieve better productivity and efficiency through the exchange of information and the use of world best practices.
The main goals of the CC of AMP are constant control of production processes, reduction of milk production costs, increase of herd productivity, optimization of feeding and livestock keeping conditions, high level of health and reproduction, ensuring maximum genetic progress of herd, organization of training and individual development of staff motivation system separately for each dairy farm.
During 10 years of cooperation, the productivity of the farms of the AMP has more than doubled due to technological support (in 2019 average annual milk yield for a cow was 8600 kg, the highest indicators were over 11,000 kg), and a certain percentage of farms of AMP in raw materials has reached 50%, submitted for processing by extra grade.
The Consulting Center was the first major breakthrough of the Association of Milk Producers, because without a penny of external or state funding, only thanks to the initiative and funding of farmers, we managed to unite 80 professionals, some of whom have a Ph.D in Agriculture or Veterinary Sciences. They are regularly involved as speakers and trainers in sectoral events in Ukraine, as well as in international projects FAO, EBRD, USAID, IFC.
The specialists of the CC of AMP are constantly improving their skills by participating in international internship programs (Mashav, Israel; Cochran Fellowship Program, USA; Cow Signals, the Netherlands, etc.), and monitor the world's best approaches to milk production for implementation in Ukraine.
The experts of the CC of AMP have developed and implemented a unique effective tool - comparative economic analysis of milk production, which helps to find answers to questions about the cost structure, the share of various costs and break-even point for making operational management decisions and increase business efficiency.
The Consultation Center is proud of its most powerful team of veterinarians, which since 2015 has been separated into a separate unit - Veterinary Service Centers (VSC), which operate throughout Ukraine with a total livestock of more than 90 thousand. .
Quality consulting cannot be as effective as possible without qualified workers on the farm. In order to improve the professionalism of Dairy Farm specialists, the Dairy Center Kischenzi training and practical platform was created, which during the year offers highly specialized training courses, master classes and practical seminars conducted by consultants of the CC of AMP and the best international experts.
